Retained on a consultancy basis, Katherine assisted The Commonwealth for eight months. During this period, she provided leadership and oversight on all matters pertaining to climate change in service to 53 Member States. In addition to having management responsibility for all Head Office and remotely based climate change staff, Katherine led a review of the Commonwealth Climate Change Programme. She was accountable for the Commonwealth Climate Finance Access Hub, which operates from Mauritius with staff out posted across ten countries Katherine also led across all Members States and in dialogue with other International Bodies as expert adviser leading on climate change at COP23, CHOGM2018 and UN emergency meetings on hurricane relief.
